Management Team/ Personal Trainer:
Getting to know Deana:
I have my Masters Degree in Exercise Science and am a certified Performance
Enhancement Specialist through National Academy of Sports Medicine. Personal training, teaching SPINNING and senior fitness
has been a great passion of mine, and I have trained at Fitness Experience since 1998. My specialties are injury prevention,
post rehabilitation, and weight loss. My hobbies include: hiking, biking, and playing with my Saint Bernards.
Getting to know Brenda:
How I started my career in fitness in 1997 is I was tired of being unhealthy and out
of shape. I joined my first gym hoping to just get healthy, and within a couple of months of joining I began teaching group
fitness classes. Shortly there after, I knew that this was my passion, and decided to make it my career.
I am currently certified through NASM, and as an APEX Bodybugg technician. I enjoy working with people
who are trying to make lifestyle changes and healthy choices. Along with managing, I teach several of our group fitness classes,
as well as personal and group training. In my off time, I really enjoy cycling, running, hiking, and most of all bike racing.
Most weekends I am off on some great adventure.

Getting to know Melissa

I grew up with fitness and nutrition all around me throughout
my childhood. My mom was an avid runner and cyclist, as some of my first memories are riding on the back of her bike, or cheering
her on at one of her races.
I joined my first gym
when I was in my teens, and soon it became apparent to me that I wanted to make it a career. I started teaching body strength
and senior classes at a different gym in 2009, and soon after was offered a position at Fitness Experience as one
of their instructors. I now teach Silver Sneakers, FitCamp, and I sub for spin and body strength whenever I can.
I am a full-time trainer, and love what I do and
who I work with. In my off time, I enjoy long distance running, cycling, and hiking. I also have a passion for music, which
comes from my dad, and I enjoy playing a few instruments. I've played in several church ensembles/orchestras, and would love
to pick up a few other instruments in the future.

I have been interested in health
and fitness for as long as I can remember. This interest led me to my Degree in Health and Exercise Science and then towards
the fitness world. Since graduating from school my interest turned into my passion, I have since acquired many certifications
such as: Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the NSCA, USA Weightlifting Club Coach, Certified Spinal
Fitness Coach through The Athletic Spinal Institute, and Crossfit Coach and Nutrition Certified. I am currently a personal
trainer, and teach the group training class called IronFit. It is my goal to bring the highest level of fitness to each individual
I work with, from the elite level athlete to those focused on improving quality of life. In my free time, I enjoy traveling
around Oregon with my wife discovering new and interesting people and places.

Adam:

I have been working at Fitness Experience for 5 ½ years and enjoy the meet-and-greet
part of my job with all of our members. I enjoy hunting, scouting, hiking, camping, working out, watching movies and taking
naps. I spent 3 years active duty service in the Army on the east coast before moving back to Oregon to finish College.

Hi, my name Travis, or you can
call me by my gym name that members gave me “Spence.” I have been working here for 2 years.
I am what you call a people person, so greeting everyone with a smile when they walk in is the best part
of my day. Some of my hobbies are Fishing, Camping, and Hunting (just started, really fun).
The one thing I love the most is cooking anything and everything. My specialty is chicken.

I'm Alexa and I have been working at the front desk and in childcare at Fitness
Experience since February 2009. I'm a super bubbly, outgoing person and am lucky to be working at a place with such a positive
and friendly atmosphere. I'm a DHE student at Oregon State and my hobbies include long walks with my puppy Pekoe, writing,
photography, reading and traveling. As a newcomer to being part of a gym, I am very excited to learn more about fitness,
getting healthy and increasing the impact these new changes have made in my life so far.
Group Fitness Instructors:
Getting to know Derryl:

I have been leading Spin and Body Strength classes for Fitness Experience since
2003. I enjoy very high-energy Spin sessions coupled with powerful music mostly gleaned from gym members (I love to get suggestions
for good songs), and I am known for using my odd sense of humor to help members push through some intense exercise. I am also
known as “Mr. Jennifer” because I am married to another instructor at Fitness Experience, Jennifer James.
Getting to know Jennifer:

I have been teaching Plyo (Pilates and Yoga mix) and Spinning for Fitness
Experience since 2006. I enjoy several kinds of dance, and try to incorporate bits of each kind into my Plyo class for a fun
twist. In my off time I enjoy hiking, biking and dancing. I also enjoy gardening while my husband Derryl works on our old
house. We are expecting our first child in August 2008.
Getting to know Michelle:

I have worked out at Fitness Experience since September of 1999, and began teaching
spinning classes in May of 2005. I am a natural professional body builder through the WNBF, and thoroughly enjoy the competitive
process of body building. I am also an avid cyclist (both mountain and road). My training for both disciplines allows me to
develop and teach spin classes that are geared toward strength, speed, and endurance. I look forward to seeing you in my class!!
